Troubleshoot the Operations Bridge Manager


This page will help enable and collect the correct logs based upon the product area which needs further analysis.


DPS:

    2. Login, it will bring you to a page with ‘Logging Settings’
    3. Check the box: ‘Enable logging for this browser session’
    4. Choose ‘Log Level: Debug’ in the dropdown menu
    5. Click Apply and it will pop up a window titled: HP BSM Logging Window
    6. Then try going to the Event Browser, and doing as normal. NOTE: This will trigger the event trace logging in the other window. Then in the HP BSM Logging Window, export the logs to log4j and send me these as well

    F12 network tracing from the Browser:

    1. Press F12
    2. Go to Network tab
    3. Click on the play button to enable the tracing.

    The number of logs created by OMi by default is 10 and the size of the logs in 2Mb (2000Kb).
    In order to collect increase the size of the log levels edit the relevant .properties file for logging area of interest and change:
    def.file.max.size=2000KB
